Dinner on Bernard: An Evening with Tantalus Vineyards
Saturday, August 9 | 6:00 pm
Celebrate the best of Okanagan wine and cuisine with an unforgettable evening on the pedestrian-only patio of Sunny’s Modern Diner. For one night only, we are taking over Bernard Avenue to host a multi-course wine-paired dinner featuring the exceptional wines of Tantalus Vineyards.
Tantalus has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s top producers of Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, recognized both nationally and internationally. Their commitment to crafting authentic wines, rooted in some of the country's oldest vinifera plantings, will be showcased throughout the evening.
Award-winning Chef Rod Butters will create a seasonally inspired, multi-course menu using the best locally sourced ingredients, thoughtfully paired with wines selected by Audrey Surrao, WSET Level 3 sommelier and co-owner of The Okanagan Table.
Joining us for the evening are David Paterson, General Manager and Winemaker at Tantalus, whose unique blend of Kiwi roots and Canadian ties brings a dynamic perspective to the world of winemaking, and Stephanie Mosley, who oversees Tantalus’ marketing, branding, and design, bringing the visual voice of the winery to life.
Old Vines. Authentic Wines. Since 2004, Tantalus has crafted a focused portfolio of wines with intention and authenticity, guided by strong principles of land stewardship. Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Okanagan Valley and first planted to table grapes in 1927, their home estate remains one of British Columbia’s oldest continuously producing vineyards.
Tickets are limited, and reservations are essential. The $199 ticket includes a multi-course wine-paired dinner and is subject to 20% gratuity and GST at checkout.
Your dining experience should be stress-free. When booking, let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we’ll take care of the rest.
